Danielle S., 38
Hearing the words “you’re having twins!” came with mixed emotions for Danielle. At age 38, she was starting a small business and co-managing a busy household with her husband. “Four years ago, our daughter was born prematurely at 31 weeks gestation,” said Danielle. “My tiny baby weighed 3 pounds, 7 ounces and needed help breathing. She spent over a month in the NICU.” Now that she was expecting multiples, Danielle was concerned about her risk for another premature birth.
“I researched hospitals in my area and talked to a friend who had experienced a similar situation,” Danielle said. “Everything led me to Bon Secours. I even toured their Birthplace and learned that their expert Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists could help my babies and me before and after delivery. The extensive Love and Learn classes taught me a lot about becoming a mom and even had a class exclusively for women expecting multiples. I feel calmer now that I’ve chosen Bon Secours where I feel my life and the lives of my twin sons are in good hands.”
